Mitch Rice: Webmaster, Designer, Tech Support, Roots Musician, Recumbent rider, Vegan, Quaker, Skeptic Webmaster Mitch
Since 1995 I've been working as webmaster/designer; my very first site was about Lotus Dickey, which morphed into two sites, Lotus World Music Festival, and the Lotus Dickey Hometown Reunion. I started doing webs related to my other interests: COPA, CARR, Mongolia Society, and Bloomingfoods (since redesigned.) As IS Manager for the Bloomington Voice/Independent, I updated the website on a weekly basis. OrbitAlmanac, Gary Glynn's astrological forcasts are all that live on from that site. Since then I've created a variety of sites, including Partridge and Quigley Coffee, Bloomington Bagel Company, Stone Cabin Design, MissionFoto, Dr Brittain, and Butler Winery,
No PCBs COPA's PCB Clearinghouse
In 1996, I merged my PCB website with COPA's BBS and this site has been growing ever since. I've scanned, edited and uploaded hundreds of documents relating to the PCB Superfund cleanup here in Bloomington. The continuing releases of PCBs from Lemon Lane (Clear Creek), Bennett's Dump (Stout's Creek), and Neal's Landfill (Richland Creek) keep the issue alive. Eat no fish from these creeks!

The Bloomington Bagel Company is where I've spent many a morning, and as it happens, BBC needed a remake of an unpublished design, so I made a few desing updates, and coded a catering form, employee mailing list, and bulletin board. Check back for updates.
Partridge and Quigley Coffee Roasters from Spencer, Indiana, supplies small batch custom roasted coffees for Southern Indiana. My first online store using the open sourt Argora Shopping Cart progamed in Perl.
Orbital Almanac is the evolution of Gary Paul Glynn's Astrologick column from the now defunct Bloomington Independent. Gary's weekly forcasts are the best on the web, and can help anyone understand astrology.
Stone Cabin Design - A Design/Build Company, serving Central Indiana with fine design and workmanship. They can take you from concept to completion, and specialize in custom cabinetry and design for kitchen and bath.
Dr. Clark BrittainDr. Brittain took the small "Online Brochure" type site I set up for him, and added a monthly column on Women's Health that is read worldwide. Site update is scheduled for Spring 2003
Dr. Clark Brittain, Humanitarian for Responisble GovernmentDr. Clark Brittain ran a well organized race for Indiana State Legislature as a Libertarian. His well written essays on reformative justice, the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, medical marijuana and social justice are all easily accessed from the site.
Bloomington Independent I was webmaster for the Bloomington Independent from 1997-2001, originally as part of my job as IT Manager. I networked the Mac-centric office with ethernet and an NT server, then moved the network to the new location at 3rd and Dunn. This job required consistancy, as we published 52 weeks a year. For a year I also published its sister publication The Illinios Times online. [The Independant has ceased publication.]
Butler Vineyard and Winery Butler Vineyard and Winery

Jim Butler and I worked out a deal for this small website - amazing what you can get done with a little money and some good wine! Since then daughter-in-law Amy Butler has taken over, and done a great job expanding the site.
Wylie House Museum Wylie House
During the winter of 2001 I updated the Wylie House website with improved page design and a feature on the new stenciling project.

The Friends' Meetinghouse Bloomginton Friends Meeting (Quakers)
If I tell you I am at a meeting on Sunday morning, this is what I mean!
Industial Workers of the World - One of my early websites about my favorite union, the Wobblies. The first such site on the web, I obtained some great photos from the Walter Reuther Library in Detroit. Recently updated with fresh links to IWW info.
Mongolia Society
I created and maintained this website from 1996 to 2000. It was redesigned on 2001, and is now maintained in-house.
CARR - Citizens for Appropriate Rural Roads

I created this grassroots community website, registered the domain and maintainted it for 4 years, till 2001.
